4th Friday of the Month Bring in your project, sewing machine and supplies and enjoy the company of the other Ivy Quilt Bees for the day! Space is very limited (only room for 10) You can sign up for the whole year, or on a month-to-month basis. 10:00AM - 3:30PM $5.00/day Call in advance! 15% off storewide for participants on the 4th Friday.
Meets 4th Saturday of the Month Instructor, Barb Gippe Room for 10 people, 9am - Noon (call in advance) but you are welcome to stay the rest of the day and enjoy a SWEET afternoon! $10/person, breakfast provided (does not include cost of supplies) Please join us every fourth Saturday for a SWEET Morning. We will begin the morning with a cup of java and a delicious sweet! We will be making quilts and other wonderful projects using the exciting Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs, Honey Buns, Turnovers, and Layer Cakes. Our first quilt will be Jelly Baskets, a stunning quilt using one Jelly Roll along with other fabric creating a beautiful Basket Quilt.
Come one month or all months - it's the kind of club you can task as you go! A variety of projects with different classes each month or two. Join us for the months that spark your interest. Saturday, March 27 from 9:00 - 12:00 Come join us for Breakfast with Barb. We will be making the quilt, Bolero. This quilt can be made 5 different sizes, from Baby to King! This quilt is very unique - you sew straight rows, make two cuts and resew into an On-Point Setting!!! The class sample is made with Orientals but this quilt can be made with any fabric type ... 30's, traditional, batiks, floral, baby .... the ideas are endless!!!! Bring your fabric precut and labeled and be ready to have fun creating a new quilt and enjoying breakfast with friends.
beginning January 14, 2010 - Meets every 2nd Thursday 10:00am - 3:00pm or 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Instructor: Joanne Galasso If you love those beautiful Civil War reproduction fabrics, this is group for you to join. We meet on the second Thursday of every month and work on small scale projects using your choice of so many fabrics to choose from in stock, or from your stash. Cost: $12

Join our 30’s club and have some fun with fabrics which have been reproduced from the popular 1930’s small figured prints. Come one month or every month. Each class is $10 per person (does not include cost of supplies). We have some exciting ideas which will take you back in time using the same fabrics as our grandmother’s used. Ivy just received polka-dot and checked fabrics which will complement our wonderful line of 30’s. If you love a quilt or method, but would like to use a different line of fabric, come any way. It is always interesting to see the same quilt pattern used with the fabrics we love.
THE STASH SOCIETY
Meet to make simple quilts for donating to Battered Women's Shelter, Foster Care, the Dialysis Center and Sands Cancer Center in Canandaigua. Every 3rd Monday of the month from 10am - 2pm. Materials are provided, if you can't be there, a kit can be provided so you can complete the quilt at home. Participants receive a 25% discount on all their purchases that day.
