Quilt As You Go Spring Tablerunner 

Tues., March 3   10-3pm

 All you beginner grad students or anyone that wants to do a fun, quick spring project join Cindy as she takes through the making of a tablerunner that will be quilted by the end of the class…all that will be needed is the binding!  How much easier can you get!

Covering America (Class in Progress, call for late enrollment)

begins Thursday, March 4th - Meets every 1st Thursday for 12 months

10AM - 3PM (Day Class is FULL)  AND 5PM-8PM

Cost: $175 (includes pattern and teachers fee)

Celebrate our great country by making a quilt that represents each state with its own block.  This quilt is a "stash buster" for reds, whites and blues (or any shade thereof) and is very fat quarter friendly.  Plan to do five blocks each month, then on month for assembly and another month for the pieced border.  Finished quilt is 77-1/2" x 90-1/2".

If you love those beautiful Civil War reproduction fabrics, this is group for you to join.  We meet on the second Thursday of every month and work on small scale projects using your choice of so many fabrics to choose from in stock, or from your stash.

Ivy Cares

Monday, March 15, 2010 - Every 3rd Monday from 10am - 2pm.

Participants receive a 25% discount on all their purchases that day.

Meet to make simple quilts for donating to Battered Women's Shelter, Foster Care, the Dialysis Center and Sands Cancer Center in Canandaigua.   Materials are provided, if you can't be there, a kit can be provided so you can complete the quilt at home.  Contact Pat to let her know you're interested.

30s Club Meets 4th Monday of the Month

Monday, March 22nd, 10:00am - 3:00pm

Join us in making this quilt and pillow from 30’s reproduction fabrics. We will use charm squares and learn to use ‘wrap and fuse’ piping on the pillow. The pillow closes with ribbon so there’s no need to fear putting in a zipper. You will need your zipper foot, though. Come find out why.

Ivy Quilt Bees

Pay $350 if paid by 12/31/09 or pay $182.50 on 1/1/09 and $182.50 on 6/1/10

This beautifully detailed quilt measurers a generous 100" x 112" and is a 150-year commemoration of the Civil War in 2011.  Each of the quilt blocks represents a major battle fought during the war.  Your fabric kit will combine historical accuracy and current appeal.  We will supply the fabric and pattern each month for you to complete this tribute quilt. Quilt is 100" x 112"

Come join us for Breakfast with Barb. We will be making the quilt, Bolero. This quilt can be made 5 different sizes, from Baby to King! This quilt is very unique - you sew straight rows, make two cuts and resew into an On-Point Setting!!! The class sample is made with Orientals but this quilt can be made with any fabric type ... 30's, traditional, batiks, floral, baby .... the ideas are endless!!!! Bring your fabric precut and labeled and be ready to have fun creating a new quilt and enjoying breakfast with friends.
